GOAL

Create a one-of-a-kind event combining a unique pirate theme with some of Detroit’s most exciting bands… Add some terrific sponsors, including Admiral Nelson Rum, and the Brethren of the Great Lakes Pirate Society, and top it off with a beautiful lakeside setting and a delicious BBQ.

RESULT

Over 1,000 people of all ages attended this two-day event at Luna Kai Landing in Harrison Township. This event was deemed a home run by the management and promises to become an annual event!

TACTICS

On The Rocks Detroit created and produced all aspects of this event, including overseeing creative design of postcards, posters, and web art, creation and distribution of press release, web promotion, securing liquor sponsorship and all vendors, booking bands, and on-site management.
